Poetic Moments in the Urban Rush - Typoclips: Animated Poetry in the Heart of the City: Fußgängerzone

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Kunststiftung NRW, 17 design students from FH Düsseldorf created animated poetry illustrations, or "Typoclips," showcased on the media façade of Sparda-Bank West in Bonn from October 27 to December 12, 2014.

Inspired by the poetry anthology Stadtlandfluss, the project transformed selected poems into dynamic visual animations using only letters, words, and lines as their artistic medium.

Among the selected works exhibited, my project Fußgängerzone was demonstrated as part of this research initiative, bringing poetry to life through motion and typography. Supported by the Literaturhaus Bonn and the Sparda-Bank West Foundation, this project bridges the intimate art of poetry with the bustling energy of city life.
